The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) is a 4-year undergraduate program that focuses on the study of pharmaceutical sciences. It covers various aspects of drug development and delivery, including:
- Drug discovery and development: Understanding how drugs are created, tested, and brought to market.
- Drug formulation and manufacturing: Learning about the processes involved in making medications.
- Pharmaceutical chemistry: Studying the chemical properties of drugs and how they interact with the body.
- Pharmacology: Exploring how drugs affect the human body and treat diseases.
- Pharmaceutics: Focusing on the design and development of drug delivery systems.
- Pharmacy practice: Learning about the dispensing of medications, patient counseling, and community pharmacy management.
Eligibilty:
- Student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.
- Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Students, those pass the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) are also eligible.
- Students shall be admitted once in a year.
